Earth. Hang in there, humans. What happen in the the last year, well, it isn’t as bad as it could have been. There are no zombies and the COVID-19 isn’t an alien conspiracy to rid the world of humans.
Those of us watching your journey unfold are rooting for you. At first, it seemed like your world was going to see an explosion of infections in Asia but that stopped as the nations there took drastic actions to quell its spread. Then cases in Europe and the United States spiked and for about a three month stay-at-home order that seemed to have helped.
And here we are in December. Hundreds of thousands of daily infections and thousands of deaths daily.
We hope this saga ends quickly. And we hope you children (children are always the future) have learned from this and will never allow this to happen again. The Children of Pangea learned during our own citywide pandemic as well as how we were going to survive cut off from the rest of our world.
You shall have to do the same. And we know you can because we just saw the youth in the United States organized for the historic 2020 presidential election. We were really proud and happy to see many of you took matters into your own hands even though you we’re not allowed to vote unless you were 18-years old. And your effort in getting out messages and the votes helped propel the largest number of voters for a presidential election.
So, I know you can continue to make your world better. Like us in Pangea, the world belongs to us. We have the the technology, resources, and more importantly, your powerful young minds to shape the future.
